Committees

Much of BOMA Toronto's important work is done by its volunteer committees. In addition to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, there are several committees focused on specific aspects of property management, building ownership, or association business.

Executive Committee

To act as the decision making group for the Board of Directors in between board meetings and undertake work on specific matters delegated to it by the Board of Directors.

Awards & Certifications Committee

The Awards Committee is responsible to the Board for the awards and certification program and provides input into the annual business plan.

Building Operations Committee

The Building Operations Committee is responsible to the Board for delivering building operations direction on issues impacting the real estate industry.

Emergency Management Sub-Committee

The Emergency Management Committee is responsible to the Board for delivering emergency management direction on issues impacting the real estate industry.

Energy & Environment Sub-Committee

The Energy and Environment Committee is responsible to the Board for delivering energy and environmental direction on issues impacting the real estate industry. 

Regulatory Affairs Sub-Committee

The Regulatory Affairs Committee is responsible to the Board for monitoring the regulatory environment and providing direction on issues impacting the real estate industry. 

BOMA CDM Oversight Committee

The BOMA CDM Oversight Committee is responsible to the Board for ensuring the interests of BOMA Toronto are protected through oversight of compliance with the terms of agreements with adherence to good governance and sound business practices.

Marketing & Communications Committee

The Marketing and Communications Committee is responsible to the Board for delivering the marketing and communications program and input into the annual business plan.

Membership Committee

The Membership committee reports to the Board on issues relative to membership approval, maintenance, growth programs, benefits and provides input into the annual business plan.

Professional Development & Education Committee

The Education committee is responsible to the Board for delivering the professional development and education program providing input into the annual business plan.

Program Coordination, Networking & Sponsorship Committee

The Program Coordination, Networking and Sponsorship committee is responsible to the Board for delivering the meeting, event and sponsorship program and input into the annual business plan.
