BOMA Toronto provides a strong advocacy voice actively promoting the interests of the commercial real estate industry in the GTA and is one of the largest most progressive organizations across North America.

Government

Government has long made it clear that it prefers organizations to address issues through a single representative voice. BOMA believes in being proactive as opposed to reactive and working closely with Federal, Provincial and Municipal representatives to ensure that legislative alternatives are fully explored. In Ontario, the voice that speaks loudest on behalf of the commercial real estate industry is BOMA.

Submissions

BOMA solicits opinions from its members on advocacy issues, refines them into succinct and powerful position papers and presents them, sometimes in combination with other interested parties, to government.

Issues

Over the years, BOMA Toronto has been active in protecting and advancing the interests of its members on such important policy issues as enerbgy pricing and supply, property taxes, labour requirements, building materials and equipment regulations. BOMA Toronto continues to work at all levels of government providing a voice for Commercial Property owners in Ontario.
