The London City Centre may turn heads from the outside, but it’s the environmental efforts within the multi-towered office complex that make it a BOMA BEST® Platinum certified building.
The City Centre has also been awarded BE ISO 14001 Certification, BOMA Toronto’s 2016 TOBY Award and Earth Hour Challenge Award, 2014’s Outstanding Energy Saver Business Award (from the Mayor’s Sustainable Energy Council), and, Power Down for the Planet Portfolio Award, among other industry accolades.

Further eco-friendly initiatives include pursuing LEED for Existing Building certification, participating in Hydro One’s SaveONenergy program, training staff and tenants on environmental practices, sharing green tips through emails and lobby TV messages, and conducting ongoing upgrades and retrofits. Additionally, the City Centre engages with the community to showcase and promote energy reduction measures.
