The BOMA Certificate of Excellence is backed by a rigorous certification program that involves a written submission and an on-site visit. Information to be included and scored includes: building management and operations, community impact, tenant relations, energy and environment management, emergency preparedness and the training of building personnel.

BOMA BESt is the leading environmental certification program for commercial buildings. Addressing an industry need for realistic standards for energy and environmental performance of existing buildings based on accurate, independently verified information, the program provides a blueprint for making properties more environmentally responsive and energy efficient while reducing operating costs.

The BOMA Toronto CDM Program pays cash incentives for electricity-saving initiatives in commercial buildings. The Program is designed to maximize participation by avoiding 'process' and 'contractual' complications and streamlining the delivery of incentive payments. Qualified electricity conservation retrofits include: lighting, sub-metering, motors, air conditioning, windows, insulation, control systems and many others for buildings over twenty five thousand square feet.

The BOMA Toronto Awards program recognizes excellence in buildings, their management teams and individuals and companies that have contributed to the betterment of the industry and the Building Owners and Managers Association. Awards are presented at the Annual BOMA Toronto Celebration of Excellence Dinner.
