Join us for this informative Breakfast Session for Young Professionals.

In contrast to conventional belief, leaders are not always born. Leadership skills can be taught and learned. The term "leadership" carries different meaning under different context, and embodies many attributes. In the transformational leadership construct, leaders set direction and objectives for themselves and others to move forward. To do this they create an inspiring vision, and then motivate and inspire others to reach that vision. Effective communication is key to success. Join an expert from the Dale Carnegie organization, and learn how effective communication leads to improved performance. The focus will be on the introduction to human relations and effective communications.

 Learning Objectives:

  • Characteristics of Leadership: Identifying the traits that makes a successful leader
  • Conversational framework – a quick tool that will be learned and practiced to have greater confidence with connecting with others and building rapport
  • Introduction to the first set of Human Relation Principles from How To Win Friends & Influence People – Enhancing Relationships & Building Trust

This session is free for Members and $50 for Non-Members.
