The 2025 race2reduce continues to celebrate achievements in the era of decarbonization. By focusing on greenhouse gas emission (GHG) reduction, we aim to support the commercial real estate sector’s transition towards a sustainable and carbon-neutral future. We applaud all participants for their dedication and hard work, and we look forward to recognizing their achievements at the 2025 CREST awards ceremony. The CREST Awards honour building owners and managers who have demonstrated commitment to continuously improve the management and operation of their buildings and drive down emissions.

Enspire is a $25 million innovative national program funded by Natural Resources Canada under its Deep Retrofit Accelerator Initiative, designed to elevate awareness, and build capacity for advancing deep energy retrofits and emission reduction within the commercial real estate sector.

Your CREST award win could see you recognized on the national stage!

Programs like race2reduce that are focused on driving down energy usage has inspired BOMA Canada to roll out a national program, called, “Enspire”!  

By collaborating with BOMA Canada’s Enspire program, we will continue to recognize the accomplishments of our race2reduce participants locally through the CREST Awards while providing our participants with to opportunity to join collective efforts from across Canada in addressing climate action.

When submitting data through Energy Star Portfolio Manager, participants will can share data to compete for recognition on a national stage through BOMA Canada’s Enspire Awards.
