Buildings are like vehicles, the better tuned up they are the less issues you will have and cheaper to own and operate. Commissioning is a process by which to ensure that building systems are performing as designed to meet the operational requirements. A properly commissioned building will deliver comfort and performance without compromising either. In reality, many of our buildings are not commissioned properly, or they were commissioned properly at some point, but the performance level has not been maintained at the desired level throughout the various changes that the building may have gone through since then. The objective of this workshop is to provide and overview of the process and how to execute – either internally or with a service provider.
