This Annual Session features Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw presenting a State of the Nation overview, including the evolving threat landscape, public safety priorities for 2026, impacts on commercial properties, and what policing may look like over the next 12–24 months.
We are also pleased to welcome Deputy Chief Lauren Pogue, to join us for the Q&A discussion.
This session will be moderated by Roy Manias, Chair, SRMAC, Senior Director, Security and Life Safety, The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited.
Chief Demkiw was appointed to his current role in December 2022, and has served the City with TPS since 1990.
